It was Washington that deep-sixed the JCPOA with false or unproven accusations that Iran was producing nuclear weapons. There is still no evidence that Iran is producing nuclear weapons. If Iran is producing such weapons, it is because unprovoked military attacks on Iran by Israel and the United States have convinced Iran that the weapons are needed for the country’s protection against hostile aggressors.
