It was late and I was tired, but Larry’s questions forced me into thinking in new ways. I described the difference between France’s fate in The Camp of the Saints and the current uprising. Decades of neglect of the ethnic French by the French governments have resulted in alienation between the French people and the French government that does not represent them. It is the same all over Western Europe, UK, and US.
We discussed the change in US politics which previously had not been ideological, but with a return of Democrats to power law will cease to serve justice and will become a weapon against Republicans and traditional Americans. Internal conflict will take the place of conflict with Russia, Iran, and China.
For decades Western Civilization has been under attack by its own intellectuals for slavery, misogyny, colonialism, imperialism, and a large number of bad behaviors. Over time this attack has destroyed the belief system on which Western Civilization rests. When the belief system is destroyed, the civilization is also destroyed, leaving the Western World open to being a Sodom and Gomorrah Tower of Babel, which it is rapidly becoming.
This is the real problem, the totally neglected problem, that the Western World faces.
The Western press is so dishonest that the BBC reports that the protests in France are peaceful even as endless video footage shows buildings and cars in flames as protesters inflict injuries on 1,000 police. France to deploy ‘massive’ force against riots
A security crackdown is being prepared after nationwide unrest resulted in hundreds of businesses being looted and buildings set on fire last weekend
Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu promised an unprecedented security response after acknowledging that the authorities failed to contain the violence on Saturday.
“The deployment for next Saturday will be massive,” Lecornu told lawmakers, accusing radical left-wing groups of orchestrating an “insurrectionary plan” during demonstrations against soaring living costs.

Notice that the “peaceful” demonstrations against classroom conditions are now explained as a result of “soaring living costs” and an “insurrection plan.”
