Iranian government says the purpose of talks with Washington is to get the first clause of the Memorandum of Undersanding implemented. No peace talks until this is done.
“The start of negotiations for a final agreement is conditional on five specific clauses, including clause one of the MoU, which concerns the cessation of hostilities in all fronts, including Lebanon.”
“We know that this clause has not been implemented and that the US has not been able to or has not wanted to. The Zionist regime keeps violating its commitment. This is the main topic of discussions in today’s talks.”

According to Iran’s state broadcaster IRIB, “In view of the blatant violation of the United States’ promises and the failure to implement the first clause of the Memorandum of Understanding on ending the war, as well as in response to Israel’s ongoing ceasefire violations in southern Lebanon the closure of the Strait of Hormuz is announced.”
If Israel continues its aggression against Lebanon, Tehran will take further steps to force it to fulfill its obligations, the statement said.
Israel has stated unequivocally that it will not comply with the MoU to cease military action against Lebanon and shows contempt for Israel’s Puppet Doll Donald Trump:

As Israel has Genocided Palestine and has begun the Genocide of Lebanon on its march to Greater Israel, Iran should go ahead and genocide Satan’s Chosen People. No one needs Israel. Israel exists on stolen territory and is the source of permanent conflict in the Middle East. Israel’s only contribution to the world is violence.
Because of Israel, Arab countries have been destroyed, large numbers killed, and millions of refugees are changing the character of the ethnic-based countries of the Western world.
