Nima and I discuss whether Iran is making a mistake by focusing on retaliation against the US when Israel is the source of the problem, and whether Iran is overestimating the impact of an oil shortage on the US if energy markets are segmented.  PCR also raises the question whether China and Russia, not Iran, are the real US targets.  If Iran falls, China can be cut off from oil, and the US can feed jihadists into the Russian Federation.
