Dear readers, March is upon us, and with March comes my appeal for your financial support of this website which is committed to no political party, to no ideological agenda, and only to truth.
When I accepted the International Journalism Award from the Press Club of Mexico in 2015, I said that for real journalists their country is truth.
There are few rewards to truth. A truth-teller takes extraordinary risks. Most people want to hear what they already believe and thus they are hostile to truth-tellers. Those whose interest are served by controlled narratives are also hostile. Where is the support for truth-tellers? It is fruitless for a truth-teller to appeal to the First Amendment when both political parties see the US Constitution as an impediment to their exercise of power.
Support for truth resides only in the small percentage of the population that can think independently, the very few people who are not locked inside the box of official narratives..
If these very few people do not support the truth-tellers, there will be no truth. The rest of the population is totally opposed to truth.
Iran was demonized in preparation for attack

We are treated to news reports that the US Justice Department has filed charges against a Pakistani and an Afghan for allegedly participating in an Iranian assassination plot to keep President Trump from returning to the Oval Office.
The allegation that Iran intended to meddle in the presidential election is difficult to believe. The Iranian government has no members on American election boards, among poll watchers, or any presence among the various officials who decide to what extent the vote is to be verified. Moreover, why now an Iranian focus on Trump when Iran was put on Washington’s hit list decades ago when the Israeli project of having the US overthrow seven Muslim countries in five years was announced? Iran is currently under military attack.
The Director of National Intelligence’s categorization of alleged Iranian-backed assassination plots against Trump, for which no evidence exists, such as “Attack Planning” by the Iranian regime’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard, are nothing but demonization of Iran to build support for Trump’s military attack on Iran.
With so much evidence of Democrat plots to keep Trump from office, such as Russiagate, insurrectiongate, documentsgate languishing unattended, what else could be the purpose of such an unlikely charge against Iran?
The Netanyahu-Trump surprise attack on Iran yesterday tells us the answer. We were delivered a basket of lies to make us believe Trump’s assertion without evidence that Iran was a dangerous threat to the United States. If any American is sufficiently stupid to believe this, and there are many of such fools, there is no hope for America.
