Will Today be the Day American Politics Crosses the Rubicon?

On Dialogue works yesterday Nima and PCR discuss foreign policy implications of a Republican, thereby Trump, loss in today’s election. PCR makes the new point that the new, apparently rising, Democrats, such as Abdul El-Sayed, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Zohran Mamdani have entered politics with the purpose of changing America, not to join the grift establishment. People with an ideological commitment are different. They aren’t in it for the money and are hard to buy. Their agenda is not money.Â
The Republicans have no ideological agenda to give them the determination to withstand the assault. For decades white liberal university indoctrination has undermined the belief system of Western civilization and the United States. For example, the US Constitution is no longer revered. It is denounced in prestigious law schools and the New York Times 1619 Project as a “racist document.” This, of course, means that free speech is racist, and that equal treatment by law does not apply to those demonized as racist. A race-gender hierarchy is arising that is turning the United States into a caste society in which traditional ethnic Americans are the lowest caste.
What we are witnessing is the demise of Western Civilization and the failure of the “American experiment.” Â The agenda is no longer to reform America but to overthrow it. Â This is not an agenda from outside as the conservatives will claim. Â It is an internal agenda against which traditional Americans have no leader to defeat it.
