Is it true that “the pen is mightier than the sword”?

September is upon us, and it is time for my quarterly request for readers’ support.
September is the weakest quarter. I understand that. Summer vacations and September’s opening with Labor Day’s 3-day week-end leaves readers with scant cash and substantial credit card bills.
I will give you some information about the website to help you understand its situation and success. The website as chartered by the IRS requires a certain level of readers’ support. Thus my requests. As the website does not adhere to the official narratives, it is not supported by the Gates, Ford, Rockefeller, Pew, Mellon, or Carnegie Foundations. Essentially, the website is carried by monthly donors of $5 to $10. A few manage $25.
The Website is generally read in every country. In some countries only by a few. The largest readership is in the US, which is approximately one-third of the total readership. Formerly the top five were the US, Canada, UK, Australia, and China. Currently, it is the US, Brazil, Canada, Viet Nam, and Mexico. The UK is sixth, Germany is seventh, the Russian Federation is ninth, and China has fallen to 14th, still high in 200 rankings. Australia is ninth. The change in rankings is due to growth in the readership in Brazil, Viet Nam, and Mexico.
Our current summer readership, the lowest quarter, is 200,000 a month who read 400,000 postings. It is higher during other times of the year. Prior to being falsely branded by the Washington Post “a Russian agent/dupe” and by Wikipedia “an anti-semite,” the website’s annual readership was one million to two million larger. But Americans are much influenced by peer pressure. Somehow Americans have lost the characteristic of thinking for themselves. The fact that so many Americans accept narratives serving special interests rather than to think for themselves is why I am pessimistic about the future of the United States.
So, I say again, support the website that does its best to give you information and analysis that is not part of some narrative serving some secret agenda. There are few people doing this as it does not pay.
