Russia responds to Ukraine’s drone attack on a Russian school by trying to organize foreign journalists to visit the site. The naive, gullible Russians think that news stories about the atrocity is the appropriate response.
Putin’s flat refusal to win a conflict now in its fifth year is being paid for with the lives of Russian civilians. Putin has steadfastly refused to terminate the ability of Ukraine and its Western allies to continue the war.
The question before the Russian people is: Why does Putin keep the war going instead of ending it in victory?

The American-Ukrainian attack on the Russian school has pressured Putin into today’s response, but despite advanced weapons such as Oreshnik and Islanders being used, Putin’s response still seems to be tit for tat, not a decisive blow to bring the conflict to an end.
The probability is rising that Putin-the-Pusillanimous will go down in Russian history as the person whose lack of serious response to provocations resulted in the dissolution of the Russian Federation.
