He recently said on CNN that as the United States has unmatched military power, we not only can but should seize whatever country we wish. Trump told the New York Times that he was not constrained by any international laws, norms, checks or balances. The inability of the Russian, Iranian, and Chinese governments to act and their inexplicable failure to form a mutual defense agreement has convinced the Trump regime that there is no effective force in the way of the exercise of American Hegemony.
